I first met Kristy in Newbold House when I was volunteering in the kitchen with Ceri O. I remember her gentle teasing and her calming presence in the house. She was often at the centre of Newbold 'Open Days' and she showed such ease with people from all ages. Kristy also helped to create a sense of ritual and beauty for solstice celebrations. For me, Maya Angelou said it best when describing Kristy: "I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” May you shine like a star in the galaxy, Kristy.
